Elephant Who Lost Leg In Land Mine Blast Gets New Prosthetic Limb

Mosha, an elephant that lost its paw at the age of seven months following an explosion at a landmine on the Myanmar-Thailand border, now uses a prosthetic to move around.

The Friends of the Asian Elephant Foundation in Lampang, Thailand, where Mosha lives, said the loss of her leg had caused severe strain on her other legs and back, so she had created a prosthesis for her.
